CKR Consulting Engineers has recently established a dedicated IT consultancy – CKR IT Consulting. The company is headed by Gareth Botha who joined our group with a view of branching even further afield and is currently in the process of expanding the company services to Zambia.
CKR IT Consulting provides the following services:

Technology needs analysis
Operational cost reduction
Optimisation of existing ICT infrastructure
Specialised Data Centre design including all MEP and IT services
ICT and Electronics system design for the build environment
Steve Franklin, a well known Wet Services Consultant with extensive local and international experience, will be incorporating his practice, SJ Franklin Plumbing Services Consulting, into CKR Consulting Engineers (Pty) Ltd. Steve will be heading up the Wet Services Division, allowing our company to further expand its MEP services by offering a full spectrum of water and sanitary related engineering disciplines, including:
Soil and water drainage
Hot and cold water supply
Pumping systems
Energy efficient water heating systems
Green engineering solutions
Waste and sewage treatment
Wet services infrastructure audits and problem solving
In the international arena, CKR Consulting Engineers, Dubai provides full MEP services to the United Arab Emirates and the Middle East. Our Dubai offices have been recently in the news for winning the prestigious Middle East Specialist Consultancy of the Year Award, second year in running. Our Dubai engineering team has also been awarded with the contract for designing the MEP, Specialist Lighting and Vertical Transportation services for
the 68 storey twin Indocean Residential/Retail Tower in Colombo, slated to be the tallest in Colombo.
CKR has also established offices in India covering India, Sri Lanka and the Far East region. We are in the process of establishing new offices in Qatar - just in time for the boom associated with the FIFA World Cup in 2022.
CKR is proud to announce that our colleagues in Dubai have just received the most
prestigious award in the MEP industry - The MEP Middle East 2010 Specialist Consultancy
of the Year Award for their contribution to developments in the Middle East.
